I love lazy summer weekends!

Super Berry Limoncello Cocktail

Here in Florida once the thermometer reaches the mid 90's you don't really have too much get up and go in you so you tend to have some really lazy weekends.

Our 12th year wedding anniversary was on today and all we wanted to do was to hang out by the pool. So guess what we did? Yep and created another great Limoncello recipe.

I really do need to get making my own Limoncello!!!

Super Berry Limoncello Cocktail

2 parts Limoncello
1 part sparkling water
juice of 1 lemon
Splash of Acai Berry juice (I use the Costco brand with blueberries)

Serve over ice with a fresh lemon slice.

As Always...

Happy Entertaining!!!

  2. Glad I'm not the only limoncello addict out there. I even bake with it.

Since acai berry is considered one of the most nutritious fruits, is your drink considered a health drink? :)

  8. Ok, I give up, I am just going to have to get some of this tasty stuff! I, of course, will consider it a health drink, after all we wouldn't want to get scurvy ... LOL!

  12. I have a blog and collect limoncello recipes (limoncelloquest.com), but for making homemade limoncello rather than mixed drinks. Damn fine idea though and that drink looks awesome.

  13. Got a great cocktail recipe with limonata and blood orange

It's called the Blood Orange Kick and was created by mixologist, Dalio Calado. We feature him and many other great cocktail recipes on our site Partybluprints.com

    Blood Orange Kick

    Ingredients:
2 oz fresh Blood Orange Juice
    2 oz Bulldog Gin
1 Limonata (Italian Sparkling Lemon Soda)
    Triple Sec
    Ice

    Directions:
In a shaker, add ice, Blood Orange Juice, Gin and a splash of
triple sec. Shake it well. Then top with Limonata and pour into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a Blood Orange wheel.
